Peter de Ridder and the southern Spanish Golf Resort, Valle Romano are still a good match
The TP52 with the characteristic pink flames will continue to display the Golf Resort’s colours on its’ hull and sails for one more Breitling MedCup event
The mighty TP 52 fleet is due to meet again in Hyères, France, for the fifth and last event in the 2007 Breitling MedCup Circuit. The Mean Machine Valle Romano team will be among the boats lining up for next week’s start.
The team, which was founded by Dutchman Peter de Ridder, with Kiwi Ray Davies calling tactics, are celebrating after a fantastic performance at the Portugal Trophy. They managed to take 5 wins out of 7 races, and now they’re heading to the South of France with their Golf Resort sponsor’s colours remaining firm on their black hull.
Peter de Ridder is very pleased with it: “I’m more than happy to continue to display the Valle Romano colours on our boat. Our agreement didn’t stretch as far as this French event, so this shows our mutual trust and satisfaction.”
De Ridder’s boys will continue to display the sponsor’s colours on the boat, and the TP 52 will keep the name Mean Machine Valle Romano until the end of the Breitling MedCup 2007 season.
