The club have the use of the old thatched boathouse (itself a listed building ) which has been modified to give an area for eating and a small functional kitchen, providing hot meals and drinks on race days, together with an excellent, modern toilet and shower block adjacent.
Racing is mainly held on Sundays, although there is also a Saturday race series in the calendar followed by barbeques in the warmer weather. Cruising is allowed when no racing is taking place. Also a program of social events is organised by our Ladies Committee.
The Club has a large dinghy park with excellent launching facilities, and a grass foreshore provided with seats, ideal for spectators. For family members not wanting to sail, the park is an ideal place to walk and picnic. Membership is open for families, single and junior members.
