The Stealthdrive SD-30 features a powerful motor that is capable of driving a heavily loaded sea kayak at over 7 km/hr (and even faster for smaller or lighter craft), backed up by state-of-the-art safety and control systems. The motor cuts out automatically if the kayak is rolled more than ninety degrees, if the user falls out, if the motor is overloaded or shorted, if the SD-30’s dual self-checking microprocessors detect a system fault, or if the handset is disconnected. This makes accidents practically impossible!
