The Club is ideally placed to host and organise major events. The Folkboat Association has held its national championships here for over thirty years and the Association’s Walcon Cup, an international team racing event, has been raced under the organisation of the Club since its inception. The Royal Artillery Yacht Club has held its annual regatta at the Club for over fifty years and the Sigma 33 Class and Contessa 32 Class have also held their national championships under the Club’s burgee.
