The Association of Brokers and Yacht Agents was formed to maintain the highest professional standards in the sale and purchase of new and secondhand craft.
Members include brokers who act as intermediaries between vendors and purchasers, as well as dealers buying and selling boats on their own account and those taking boats in part exchange.
ABYA runs regular courses for new brokers and seminars and training sessions for the more experienced professional who wants to keep up with developments.
The ABYA Committee consists of twelve elected members, and meets quarterly to discuss issues directly of consequence to broker members, including standard contracts, training and membership.
