From an award winning architect in cooperation with world renowned naval architect design team whose boats have won; Copa del Rey and TP52 Med Cup, we present Murtic Yachts, the finest in sailboat design.
With an uncompromising approach to design and manufacturing, Murtic Yachts create the most dynamically and technologically advanced sailboats in production today, and include the latest ORC’s GP42, a class of its own.
Altough a totally new shipyard founded in Croatia, this is an international project with a clear concept, formed around a group of highly motivated professionals and skillled builders of most advanced yachts and sailing machines.
Idea about forming a yard came from its founder Marko Murtic almost 5 years ago.
As an Architect that won several national and international awards and merits for architecture and interior work had the vision about a new breed of sailing yachts that he would like to see on the water.
He is a passionate sailor, skipper aboard his VO60 on world known regattas like the Volvo Baltic race, Middle Sea races and others.
Along with the dreams came friendship with Shaun Carkeek and Massimo Kovacic.
The first boat we decided to build is an extremely advanced sailing machine, the new class GP 42, and we have succesfully build two boats. 2007 we started construction of our Murtic 52 Performance Cruiser Raised Saloon. She will be lounched June 2008.
Our main goal is to produce and design high quality performance yachts, boats that will be on the front edge of new production sailing yachts, built in advanced composite materials, designed to sail faster then any other boat in the same size range and with an eye catching design.
The program of the yard is split in custom racing yachts, performance luxury yachts and custom yachts up to 100’.
Our performance range start from our performance cruiser MURTIC 52
then MURTIC 56, MURTIC 62, MURTIC 72 and with class of its own the MURTIC 80.Our boatyard is equipped to offer you a unique custom range of yachts from 40 to 100 foot. Each boat is built to a personal specification, individually sea tested and fine tuned to ensure high level of performance, handling and integrity and therefore a garanteed great sailing experience.
