The clubhouse, opened by HRH The Princess Royal in 1993, includes a large club room, galley, licensed bar, and spacious changing rooms with hot showers.
We have exclusive use of Winscar reservoir which extends over 120 acres and provides unobstructed steady wind, good racing courses in most wind directions, and delightful views of the Pennine scenery.
We have a range of club dinghies which are used mainly for training but are available for hire for racing or free-sailing.
These boats include Topper Sport 16’s, Laser Picos, Optimists, several
race-rigged Toppers, as well as a Laser, and some sailboards. Some of these are pictured on show at our Open Day.
