We are a small club compared to some of the others in the country and we are always looking for new members. In the past 8 Years the River Tees has held one of the rounds of the British Championship.
The club consists of both Stand up craft and Sitdowns (runabouts) and has members who are both interested in Freestyle and Racing and also some pure recreational riders. Our club has a mix of people and also a lot of our members also use Redcar beach for launching from so to know these people can be a good help if you plan on venturing in the sea for the first time.
The use of the Barrage is only for riders who are members of the TPWC, also there are other users from different clubs who use the water but for safety we all use it at different times, other users on the river are Waterskiiers, Rowers, Dragon boaters and canoesists.
