We sail on Trimpley reservoir, near Kidderminster and Bewdley. The reservoir is nestling between the River Severn on one side and the historic Severn Valley Steam Railway on the other. The reservoir is surrounded by Eymore Wood which is very popular with walkers and ramblers. The setting is idyllic.
TSC has in excess of 100 members comprising of sailors, young and old, and those who prefer to just sit relax and watch.
The reservoir was completed in 1968 and the sailing club was established by a few local people soon after. The reservoir is approximately 1 mile in perimeter. The reservoir is about 30 feet deep and constructed with concrete. This means it is steep sided allowing us to make full use of the area.
The TSC clubhouse is a converted barn. Inside we have a social area with galley (kitchen area) where we can prepare hot and cold drinks and heat food if required. There are male/female changing facilities with showers.#
