It was not long though before they brought their own distinct ideas and ingenuity to the fore and redesigned the deck of the 18’ boat to produce the new 18SS Phantom UK. This new Phantom has been Homologated by the RYA
They purchased the 16’ and 18’ moulds when Steve Baker, the original owner and maker of the Phantoms retired. Steve trained both Clive and Graham and is always ready to help.
The Phantom UK boats came out of the blocks, raring to go. A Phantom UK boat won the 1800 Class in 2002 and 2004, also taking the 1, 2 and 3 hour endurance competitions at Lake Windermere in Octobr 2003
The 16’ Phanotm is used in the K1000 class with a 60hp 1 ltr Green Engine. The Firstrace, “The Brass Monkey ”, of the February 2004 season was won by Ryan Fields (driver) and Spud (co-driver) in their 16’ Phantom “Just 3 Play”.
