Tyee Yacht Club was organized in 1954 by a group of powerboaters devoted to the principle of supporting the recreational needs of the boater willing to work for the general good, maintenance, and improvement of the club.
Tyee’s work projects benefit all members, providing up-to-date enhancements and new opportunities including:
* New fire, sewer, electric systems installed in 2002
* A Tyee Outstation located in the calm waters of Martin’s Slough, providing dock facilities for up to 30 boats
* Covered moorage for up to 32’ boats, plus four 700’ rows for members’ boathouses
Our friendly, active members have several socials yearly including:
* A semi-formal Commodore’s Ball
* Dinner Dances
* Children’s Christmas party
* The annual Crab Feed
Tyee owns its on-the-water clubhouse and docks facility including:
* A fully equipped galley and bar
* Outdoor barbecue and decks
* Gated, paved parking
* Ice station with free ice
* Wholesale fuel stored above ground
* Pumpout station
* An on-site resident manager
