Platty is a small family run water sports business based on the shores of Derwentwater, in the English Lake District.
We have a range of boats for you to hire, so you can enjoy the full spectrum of experiences that sailing has to offer. Whether it’s the thrill of going solo or the comfort of sailing with a friend, we have the boat for you.
We also offer tuition, with our RYA (Royal Yachting Association) qualified staff. They can either accompany you in the boat or chug alongside in the safety boat. They will make the ride as fun and exciting, or as relaxing as you like, while you learn under their expert guidance.
