About Us

Legend Sailing is a forward thinking company where traditional values are combined with Eco-friendly technology, to give our customers The very best activity experience with the minimum impact on the environment.

Whether it is by giving them an adrenaline rush in a high performance sailing dinghy, which will inspire them to learn to harness the power of the wind for themselves, or by allowing people to regain their centre through the relaxing sport of archery! All of Legend Sailing’s activities are quiet and non intrusive toward the environment and the surrounding area.

Take a skipperd cruise aboard one of our large open keelboats, or go for a paddle in one of our stable Canadian Canoes and enjoy the Beauty of Loch Tay from this unique perspective and appreciate the tranquility and peace of slipping through the water powered only by the wind or your paddles.

Alternatively take a 20 mile Downhill cycle ride through one of Scotland’s most beautiful Glens to the famous Fortingall Yew Tree! This trip really is that easy! In 2003 it was successfully completed by customers ranging from 6 to 60 years old.

The Experience

Aero:
You are standing next to a high performance Sailing boat, the sails are flapping noisily and the boat is bucking and rearing. You’re about to step into the unknown! To harness the awesome power of the wind.

Hydro:
As you untether the boat you feel the surges of water. As each wave breaks you feel it try to escape from your grasp. Now you’re ready to step into the boat and put yourself at the mercy of the waves.

Dynamics:
As you step in, the boat immediately begins to move forward, pitching from wave to wave. As the wind increases, it is time! You look once again at the thin strand of steel wire, designed to suspend you over the water. As you clip on and move your body weight in response to the power of the wind in the sails. The boat immediately springs into action. You are now Dynamic! Careering across the waves harnessed to the power of wind and water. You started in fear ! You may still be frightened ! Your body responds automatically, adrenalin starts to flow, endorphins are created in your brain. You are elated, at one with the wind and water and you experience a sense of achievement.
