Founded as The Marconi International Marine Communications Company Limited by Guglielmo Marconi in April 1900, we are now known as SELEX Communications Marine Division. Marconi carried out much of his early work at Chelmsford, Essex, and on board his yacht MV Elettra.
SELEX Communications Marine Division is the only organisation in the world that has been continuously involved in the provision, implementation, monitoring and support of ships’ radio installations since the very inception of marine radio.
