Kernow Oils Multipurpose Bilge Kit gets 'Made in Cornwall' approval.

Kernow Oils developed a versatile Hydrophobic Oil & Fuel Only Bilge spill control Kit at the begining of 2008 which now has been awarded the Cornwall County Councils Approved Origin Scheme ‘Made in Cornwall’ approval.
In response to an ever increasing awareness of the implications of Oil and Fuel Pollution in water, Kernow Oils has developed a versatile, multi functional, Hydrophobic Oil and Fuel spill absorbent kit. Made on the premises at the Head Office site in Hayle in Cornwall, Bespoke Kits can be made to meet any requirements dependant on engine size, condition and position.
STANDARD BILGE SPILL KIT CONTENTS:
• 1 x Reusable Yellow Splash proof Tube bag
• 2×1.2 metre Lint Free, Oil Only Socks with eyelets/grommets – each capable of absorbing 4.5 litres of Fuel/Oil.
For use in bilge (socks will roll with motion of the boat maximising absorbent surface and capacity), to tie around leak source on water surface whilst repairs carried out or tie together to contain larger spill source on open water surface.
• 6×38 by 40cm sq’ Oil Only Rip and Place Bonded Lint Free Pads (2 with 4 eyelets for securing under leaks or tear down to create collars) – each one capable of absorbing 0.7 litre of Fuel/Oil. For large surface area spill on water, under the engine to warn of any oil leaks, absorption of accidental fuel overflow/splash backs whilst refuelling or solid surface spills. Perforated for flexibility, tear down perforations for smaller pads and wraps.
• 1 x Disposal Bag, Gloves & Tie. For safe disposal of the hazardous waste.
• 1 x Instruction & Contents laminated sheet
