The majority of vehicle breakdown companies will be able to get you going again from the roadside, and if they’re unable to do this they will recover your car to a local garage or even to your original desitination.
Have you considered what would happen if you were towing a trailer and the car was recovered? Most companies would try to help, but not all will guarantee that the trailer will be recovered with the vehicle.
