Clipper Ventures Plc was founded by Sir Robin Knox-Johnston in 1995 and it owns the rights to the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race which started Liverpool in September 2005 and will finish in Liverpool in July 2006. Clipper Ventures Plc also owns the rights to the VELUX 5 Oceans single handed Round the World Yacht Race which will start in Bilbao in October 2006 and the European rights to ZapCat racing.
