Sillette-Sonic owes its origins to the manufacture of sterndrives in 1975, from which a full range of Sonic marine transmission systems for motor cruisers, yachts and catamarans were developed. The Company's Hydrodrive Transmission Units have been supplied to the winners of Whitbread Round the World Races and several Admirals Cup winners.
