Adlard Coles Nautical

In 1947 K Adlard Coles founded his own publishing company. He himself wrote many books, including pilots, narratives and the classic, world-famous Heavy Weather Sailing. Today, Adlard Coles Nautical is an imprint of A & C Black Publishers, who bought both Nautical Books and Adlard and merged the two in 1990.
