Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club

Newhaven and Seaford Sailing Club was formed in 1952 by a group of enthusiasts who sailed from Newhaven and later from the beach near the old Buckle Inn at Seaford. Later the Club obtained the rights to sail on Piddinghoe Pond (location) some 5 miles away. Subsequently the present clubhouse on the beach was built and the freehold to the Pond acquired.
