Mills Dockyard

Established in 1890 Mills Dockyard's history has always been the building, repairing and servicing of a wide variety of craft, from houseboats to barges and river launches. The fourth generation, in Steve Mills, has for the past 25 years specialised in the restoration and construction of vintage wooden boats. Steam, electric and motor launches have all been built at the yard. We have been involved in the restoration of a number of Historic Race boat projects covering the period 1913 to 1965.... more
