Grand Coulee Dam Yacht Club

The GCDYC was started in 1939 by a small group of USBR employees during dam construction. The club was named in March 1940 and chartered in Oct. 1940. In the early 70's the construction of the 3rd Powerhouse forced the GCDYC to find a new home. The GCDYC purchased property at Eden Harbor in the 70's. Later the existing docks were built.
