Chattanooga Yacht Club

CYC’s rich heritage was launched in 1925 as the Chattanooga Rod and Gun Club by an influential group of 250 Chattanooga businessmen led by J.W.Oliphant. In 1940, TVA completed the Chickamauga Dam project, creating Chickamauga Lake. The Chattanooga Yacht Club has since become one of Tennessee’s premier yacht clubs. The club's strong historical background and modern focus on the evolving needs of its members, is its hallmark.
