KERNOWLUBE BD 32 BIODEGRADEABLE HYDRAULIC OIL
BIODEGRADABLE HYDRAULIC OILS MANUFACTURED USING A COMBINATION OF NATURAL AND SYNTHETIC ESTER PRODUCTS TO MEET THE REQUIREMENTS OF HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS.
The Kernowlube BD range is recommended as a replacement for mineral hydraulic oils, particularly where spillage or loss in plant and equipment used near to, or for the construction of waterways and reservoirs.
Mineral Oil, Zinc and other heavy metal additive free this range is also recommended for all applications where some contact with humans or animals is a possibility.
Specifically manufactured to give low wear performance over a very wide range of temperatures the very low pour point gives full lubrication even in sub zero climactic start up conditions.
FDA (Federal Food and Drug Administration) approved performance additives offer superior protection against Wear, Oxidation, Mist, Corrosion and Foam.
Product Specification
The biodegradability for our Ultramax BD range is given as >98% by the CEC-L-33-T-82 test.
The biodegradability for mineral oils is typically between 15-35% (source: Renewable Lubricants) by the same test.
Based on 20% (mid point) as the yardstick then the BD range will biodegrade almost 5 times faster, or conversely oil will biodegrade 5 times slower than the BD range
Availability
The Kernowlube BD range is available in bulk road tanker deliveries, 205 litre barrels an 20 litre drums.
